Hey there, plant friend!
What started as “just a few houseplants” about five years ago quickly turned into a full-blown obsession — the good kind (mostly). I told myself I’d stop after my third pothos… and now I’m considering a bigger house just for the plants. My living room looks like a jungle with better lighting (and far less organization).

I named Philtavia’s Garden after my two granddaughters, Ophelia and Octavia, because like them, my plants have plenty of personality, a bit of drama, and require regular snacks and attention. What began as a simple hobby has grown into a happy little chaos of leaves, soil, and stories — a space where I share my love for all things green: the thriving, the wilting, and the ones I’ve heroically brought back from the brink.
